We are sensitive to your right to quiet enjoyment, and yet respond quickly to your reports of maintenance. A high percentage of our tenants renew their contracts with us again and again – so we must be doing something right!
Your rental property will be professionally cleaned before you take up occupation and a representative of Open Doors will meet you at the property on the first day of the tenancy to show you how everything works, take meter readings and hand over the keys to you.
If we manage the property you will be given the 24hr emergency number, and if the landlord manages the property you will be given all their contact details.
All deposit monies for our managed properties are registered with The Dispute Service.
At the check-out, our inventory clerk will highlight anything they consider obliged to report to our client, we will then send to you any proposals for deduction and refund any un-disputed sums held. We pride ourselves on being able to negotiate deposit returns swiftly and without recourse to the dispute service.
We prefer maintenance to be reported via email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we have a written timed record. But all reports are responded to quickly.
We will visit your home (with a weeks notice) at least three times a year to carry out a property visit to ensure all is well and you’re happy.
