Our Lizzie is doing a charity bike ride from London to Paris

Lizzie Brand, Lettings Negotiator at Open Doors is taking part in a charity bike ride from London to Paris next week. Lizzie a keen cyclist is participating with her grandfather; father and brother and his girlfriend so it will be a family experience for all involved.

Lizzie whilst working full time has been in training at weekends, evenings and in the Peak District covering up to 80 miles a day.

The trip to Paris will cover 310 miles over a period of 5 days. Their challenge  begins from Crystal  Palace to Dover where they catch the ferry to  Calais for an overnight stop. On day two, La Belle France!  Lizzie will travel south from Calais to Desvre covering approximately 75 miles.  On day three they will follow the river Somme out of Abbeville and cycle through this beautiful region.  On the final day of cycling this is the big push to Paris and Lizzie will see stunning countryside on the way up to the lunch spot by the River Seine. After lunch they follow the river down through the suburbs to Bois de Boulogne – the largest park in Paris. There is then a short ride along the famous wide boulevards of Paris before reaching the finishing point at the Eiffel Tower.
